JPT Fitness Ltd ("JPT", "we", "us") runs outdoor group fitness sessions in South West London. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

When you enquire through our website Your name, email address, phone number, the location you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about what you are looking for.

When you become a member Contact and billing details, the health information you give us on our health questionnaire, your attendance at sessions, and records of your communications with us.

When you visit the website Your IP address, browser and device information, and how you use the site. Some of this is collected through cookies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

Health information The health questionnaire we ask members to complete counts as special category data under UK data protection law and is treated with additional care. We collect it so our coaches can adapt sessions safely and so we know about injuries or conditions that affect your training. We rely on your explicit consent to hold it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time, though it may mean we cannot safely continue coaching you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the business.

We may also share information with our accountant, with professional advisers, or where we are legally required to.

Transfers outside the UK. Some of these suppliers process information in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The six year periods reflect the time limits for bringing legal claims and HMRC's record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong
  • Have it deleted, in certain circumstances
  • Restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
  • Object to us using it, including for marketing, which we will always honour
  • Ask for it in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113.

Keeping your information safe

We use reputable suppliers, limit access to those who need it, and protect our accounts appropriately. No system is completely secure, but we take our responsibilities seriously. If something goes wrong that puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the ICO where the law requires it.

We do not take card details by email. Payments are handled by Stripe and GoCardless, and we do not store your full card number.

Children

Our sessions are for adults and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe we hold information about a child, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change we will tell members directly.
